Child bicyclist collides with vehicle


UPDATE: TEMPLETON — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a collision involving a vehicle and a child on a bicycle that occurred in Templeton Monday morning.

“The child actually rode into the side of the car and the car was traveling at a very slow speed,  approximately 2 miles per hour,” said Officer Patrick Seebart with the CHP.

The child was transported to Twin Cities Community Hospital. CHP reports that “he was uninjured. The transportation was for precautionary reasons only.”

There was no damage to the bicycle or the car.  The child was released with no injuries.

The driver was not impaired.
