ATASCADERO — The 805 Board Shop recently reopened its doors at a new location downtown and will now be under the management of new owner Kevin Campion and his daughter, store manager Kayla Castro.
Campion bought the two-year-old business from previous owner Ryan Amborn and moved it from its previous location next to Dominos Pizza on El Camino Real to the new location at the corner of Traffic Way and Palma Avenue, right in the heart of downtown Atascadero.
Campion says that he didn’t think the original location fit the store’s product mix or overall mission. In fact, he signed a lease on the new location before he even bought the business. Campion wanted the new shop to be a part of the downtown business community and to be closer to his other business, A-Town Skate Park. For the complete article see the 08-06-2014 issue.
