TEMPLETON — July 12 marked the culmination of the Templeton Chamber of Commerce celebration of the Night of 1000 Stars — a gala event hosted by the Chamber for two years running — and this year was bigger and better than ever before.
With nearly six months at the reins and a great community of supporters and volunteers, Templeton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sarah Maggelet has been taking the TCC above and beyond what was expected and this event was no exception.
The night kicked off with tasty treats, schmoozing and libations, followed by a wonderful dinner, awards ceremony and live and silent actions. This year awards were presented to the Ambassador of the Year, Citizen of the Year and the Business of the Year. Dick Mason, who was the emcee for the night, county supervisor Frank Mecham, county supervisor Debbie Arnold and assemblymen Katcho Achadjian helped to present the awards along with Maggelet. The first award was given to the Ambassador of the Year. For the complete article see the 07-16-2014 issue.
