The Templeton Woman’s Civic Club will celebrate its 100th year of continuing service to the community on Saturday, Dec. 7 at its clubhouse located at 601 S. Main St. in Templeton. The building is also known as the Templeton Community Center.

An open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., offering refreshments, local musicians, raffle, displays and storytelling by current members. The event is being co-chaired by Diane Olson and Carla Wilhoit. The event is open to the public and the current President, Letha Blythe, says that it is a community-focused event and promises an enjoyable and informative afternoon.

The Woman’s Club (TWCC) is arguably the oldest continuously operating women’s organization in the state of California.
