Olive Tree Fine Arts, 5850 Traffic Way, presents two special free events at the quarterly Art and Wine Stroll on Friday, Dec. 6, from 6-8 p.m. All are invited to dip into the ages-old art making tradition of drawing the figure. As professional model, Katja Gee, strikes costumed poses in front of the gallery, all are invited to stop by and draw Katja. Easels will be set up, complete with paper, pencils, and charcoal. In the spirit of giving during this holiday season, this is a gift for the enjoyment of all. You just may activate your creative spark!

Not having drawn the figure previously, Michael thoroughly enjoyed the event. He was keenly aware of shadow and light and its effect on defining the human form.
