SAN LUIS OBISPO — Watchdog groups and a Paso Robles couple are claiming the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors violated the Brown Act on July 9.
The First Amendment Coalition, Becky and Lowell Zelinski, and the Coalition of Labor, Agriculture and Business demanded that the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors “cure and correct” a violation of the Brown Act that occurred on July 9. According to the letters, the Board of Supervisors violated the Brown Act when they accepted public comment, deliberated and took action on an item not on the agenda.
