New library’s construction delayed?

ATASCADERO — Just after announcing that it had raised the last money necessary to begin construction on the new library building on Capistrano Avenue, Atascadero Friends of the Library learned that construction may be pushed back thanks to a potentially lengthily appeals process. The original bid for construction on the new library was awarded to Maino Construction. But it appears that all bids may be thrown out after an appeal by Santa Margarita Construction.
