Meyer, Atascadero’s flora steward, retires

ATASCADERO — It’s impossible to even estimate the number of trees Corey Meyer has planted as an employee of the city of Atascadero. It’s impossible to estimate how many miles he’s put on the riding lawnmower at Atascadero Lake Park. In short, it’s impossible to estimate the impact he’s had over the past 28 years as a steward of Atascadero’s flora.
