Suspicious death investigated west of Templeton

TEMPLETON — The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s office is investigating a suspicious death after the department received a 911 call Wednesday just after 9 p.m. that a subject was near a residence west of Templeton with an apparent gunshot wound. According to a press release issued by the Sheriff’s office, deputies and medics responded to scene, but the individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
