Our American Heritage Monument breaks ground

ATASCADERO — Ground has broken on a one-of-a-kind monument in Colony Square.

A monument to the United States of America’s Founding Fathers, the Our American Heritage Monument has been in the works for about two years and broke ground on Friday, Feb. 22. Our American Heritage Monument Committee Chairman Chuck Ward said it will be ready for a Fourth of July dedication.
