Atascadero man is charged with multiple felonies

ARROYO GRANDE — A man identified as Atascadero resident Mykel Leo Romo, 21, was arrested after he allegedly attempted to wrangle a purse from an 80-year-old woman in the parking lot of Kmart in Arroyo Grande. Romo was detained by several nearby citizens shortly after the robbery attempt on Monday, according to the Arroyo Grande Police Department.
