Locally made movie to screen in Atascadero

ATASCADERO — “Mindscans,” a film written and directed by a Central Coast resident Ben Chiu will be unveiled at Galaxy Theatres in Atascadero on Monday. According to the film’s website, www.mindscans.com, the movie is based on a story by Steven L. Kent and is a futuristic sci-fi thriller that follows a journalist as she investigates lawsuits against a company whose product can hook a human brain up to a virtual reality computer.
