PASO ROBLES ó Alice Theresa (Delkener) Koenig, 93, of Paso Robles died on Dec. 26, 2012, in Atascadero.
She was born in January 1919 in Orcutt to Charles and Agnes Delkener.
Alice was the fourth of five children. She married Victor Koenig in Kingman, Ariz., on Feb. 24, 1941. They had eight children. She lived in Paso Robles for 70 years. She was employed by Tomís Market as a cashier for 15 years. Alice was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, charity work and helping others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor B. Koenig, and her daughter, Catherine Bailey.
Alice is survived by her loving children, John Koenig, Mary (Larry) Phillips, Rose Marie Pesenti, Ray Koenig, James (Elizabeth) Koenig, Steven (Shawna) Koenig, Elizabeth Andres (Mark Van Dyk), her sister, Mary Delkener; son-in-law, Scott Bailey; one great-grandson; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral memorial mass for Alice today at 11 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 820 Creston Road in Paso Robles. A reception will follow in the church parish hall.
Services are under the direction of Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home in Paso Robles.
