TEMPLETON — Brandon Hamburg, 28, of Templeton died on Nov. 20, 2012.
Brandon was born in Templeton on April 6, 1984, to his loving parents, Mike Hamburg and Robyn Renfro.
Brandon was an incredibly kind soul and always made time for friends, family and concerts. Brandon laughed easily with his infectious smile, even at his own expense. He was a joy to be around and always had a hug to give. Brandon was amazing as he knew no strangers.
Brandon’s enthusiasm and love of the arts was contagious and earned him countless friends in the music and art industry.
According to Brandon, his greatest accomplishment in life was the birth of his beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Lydia.
Brandon touched many lives and will be dearly missed. While Brandon endured many challenges over his last few years, his family and friends vow that it will not have been in vain. Namaste, Brandon.
He was preceded in death by his “Poppa,” Art Renfro; great-uncle, Steve Hamburg; and many great friends that have also had their lives taken to soon.
Brandon is survived by his daughter, Lydia Rene’ Rocha-Hamburg; best friend and twin brother, Bryan Hamburg; baby brother, Nicolas Coons (Stefie); father, Mike Hamburg; mother, Robyn Renfro; uncle-daddy, Craig Grunow; confidante, mentor and uncle Matt Hamburg; sister, Chelsea Hamburg, step “Big Daddy,” Bruce Emanuelson (Carla); step-siblings, Brandel, Brittianee (Rayne) and Gracelyn; his soul momma, Auntie Shrew (Cheryl Marsh); grandma, Carolyn Renfro, grandma Sandy Pipkin, grandpa Bill Austin, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who he loved so very much. He is also survived by so many awesome friends who he cherished as brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1. Beginning at 3 p.m. a celebration of his life and benefit barbeque will be held at one of his favorite places on earth — the Pozo Saloon.
There is an account set up at Rabobank in Atascadero in Lydia’s name for her college education so she may carry on the dreams of her daddy. Donations to the account can be made under the name Lydia Rene’ Rocha-Hamburg.
