PASO ROBLES — Alice Ann Jackson, 82, of Paso Robles died on Nov. 4, 2012.
Alice was born on Nov. 19, 1929 in Long Beach to Susie and Frank Bryson.
Alice married Robert Jackson in 1955 and lived in Long Beach for 60 years. She had two children, daughter Dixie Lee and son John Francis.
In 1992 Alice moved to Paso Robles where she lived out her life with her daughter; grandchildren, Joshua and Thanisha Totemwongse; and many loving cats and dogs whom she considered family.
She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Totemwongse; son, John Jackson and his wife Ceth Jackson; seven grandchildren, Thanisha Totemwongse, Joshua Totemwongse, Daniel Jackson, Abraham Jackson, Peter Jackson, Deena Jackson and Marie Wyatt; and eight great-grandchildren.
Alice lived life to the fullest and enjoyed donating to causes special to her heart. These included the human society, SPCA, rescue animals and veteran affairs.
She was a wonderful person that will greatly be missed.
BRADLEY — Steven Archie Smith, 53, of Bradley did on Nov. 5, 2012.
Steve was born and raised in Bradley and went to school in Paso Robles. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and had a fondness for working cattle, branding calves, horses and old-time friends. He had a good heart and always a soft spot for his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Edith Smith, and his brother, Bill.
He is survived by his brother, Calvin Smith; sister, Linda Robertson; and nephew, Bandy Smith.
A memorial barbecue will be held in his name at the Bryson Hesperia Hall on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 11 am.
