Pearl Tarpley-Gardner obituary

ATASCADERO — Pearl Rae Tarpley-Gardner, 87, of Atascadero passed away peacefully Sept. 29, 2012.

She was born in Chicago on Dec. 13, 1924, the daughter of George and Rose Doherty.

Pearl is survived by four children, Michael Tarpley of Atascadero, Susan Tarpley of Atascadero, Thomasina Weathington of Atlanta and Terri Saunders of Los Alamos; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters.

She lived a full and productive life. She was a very devoted businesswoman as the owner of Tom’s Market in Paso Robles, Tom’s Market No. 2 in Templeton and Gardner’s drive-in in Santa Margarita throughout her life.

Pearl will be laid to rest in Santa Margarita Cemetery. There will be no funeral services.
