NEW YEAR, NEW BUSINESS: Natives open city’s first CrossFit box

ATASCADERO — Two Atascadero natives, Dustin Virgil and Curtis Fortune, opened the first CrossFit box in Atascadero on Saturday, Feb. 2. Both Virgil and Fortune are seasonal firefighters with CALFIRE and live in Atascadero, which is also where they both grew up.
