Chambers awards Community Service Award to Ernst

ATASCADERO — The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce named Friends of the Library President Grenda Ernst with the 2012 Community Service Award at its annual dinner on Jan. 12. Atacadero Chamber of Commerce member Barbie Butz presented Ernst with the honor with a few words about her many hours of dedicated community service.

Ernst is currently involved in getting the Atascadero library moved from its current location on Morro Road to Capistrano Avenue. The organization is $56,000 away from the $2 million it must raise for the relocation.
