High-speed chase leads to suicide

PASO ROBLES — Nathan Hamilton, 29, hometown presently unknown, led California Highway Patrol officers on a car chase that ended with his suicide on Sunday.

According to Officer Steve Schuh of the Colinga CHP, at or around 11 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, Hamilton was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger too fast on Interstate 5. A CHP officer tried to pull Hamilton over for a routine traffic stop.
