Friday Feature: Improving with age - At 41, this volunteer firefighter is in better shape than ever

Fighting fires is hard. That’s why Atascadero resident Faith Jewell switched up her workout, and that workout has gotten her into fantastic, firefighting shape.

Jewell graduated from Templeton High School where she was involved in gymnastics and cheerleading. She continued gymnastics until her first pregnancy, when things just sort of tapered off the way they do.

“I was pretty much just a mom and I worked,” Jewell said.
