Paula Dumouchelle obituary

ATASCADERO — Paula Jean (Gregory) Dumouchelle, 85, of Atascadero died on July 31, 2012, at Twin Cities Community Hospital.

Paula was born on March 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ola Gregory. Paula married John Dumouchelle in 1945 and together they owned a home and lived their lives in Atascadero.

Paula was blessed with four children, Richard Dumouchelle, Karen Mills, Robert Dumouchelle and Allen Dumouchelle, who died as an infant but was never forgotten and is there to greet his mother.

Paula was loved by many and was surrounded by loved ones as she peacefully joined with God.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, John Dumouchelle in 1996; her son, Allen Dumouchelle in 1948; nephew Jeffery Dumouchelle, who died in July 2012; son-in-law, James Mills in 2008; daughter-in-law Roxanne Dumouchelle in 2003; her parents; and brothers and sisters that have passed.

She is survived by her sister, Eloise Barber; brother, Dick Gregory; loving sons, Richard and Robert Dumouchelle; daughter, Karen Mills; daughter-in-law, Janice Dumouchelle; best friends, Reeva and Sewall Glinternick; grandchildren, Kimberley Loudat, Tiffany Cassara, Tara Mills, Shaun Dumouchelle, Danielle Dumouchelle, Renee Dumouchelle and David Mills; and great-grandchildren, James, Kailey, Katalyn, and Kylah Loudat, Tyler, Trent and Caden Cassara.

Services will be held on Monday, Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. at St. William’s Catholic Church, 6410 Santa Lucia Road in Atascadero, where a Catholic Mass will take place.

Following the service there will be a procession to Pine Mountain Cemetery for a graveside memorial at 2 p.m.

A reception will follow at the Dumouchelle home at 2100 Alturas Ave. in Atascadero.
