Pamela “Pam” Hampton, 54 of Santa Margarita died on June 18, 2012, at Twin Cities Community Hospital a brief illness.
Pam was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She loved to laugh and her smile could fill the room.
Her wit and self-deprecating humor was not to be matched and provided endless entertainment to her family, friends and co-workers.
She was a cashier, and service operation manager at the Atascadero Albertsons store. Mostly she was a favorite of any customer with children. It was hard to get past her without losing at least one child to her arms.
She was also a favorite to the firefighters, taking care of their purchases when they were forced to leave the store in an emergency. She was unforgettable and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Don Pepper, and sister, Andrea Pepper.
She is survived by her mother, Stephanie Flynt; sisters, Lezlie Shirk (her twin) and Molly Harrington; daughter, Katherine Stec; sons, Keith, Chris and Robert Anderson; grandchildren, Kodi, Ivy, Lilian and Ryan Anderson, Gavin and Samantha Stec; and her loving partner, Dan McGauley.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 1 p.m. at Santa Margarita park.
