SANTA MARGARITA — Eddie Ray Clifton, 52, of Santa Margarita died on May 29, 2012.
He was born in Lindsay in October 1959 to Raymond and Loretta Clifton.
Eddie attended Lindsay schools from kindergarten through high school, graduating in June 1977. He loved baseball. He played starting at an early age in the Knot Holes, then Little League and each year through High School. He played summer baseball with other towns. He also played baseball for Porterville College where he attended after High School.
As a youngster he was in Boy Scouts and also Royal Rangers which he really enjoyed. Eddie has always loved living life as a free spirit, fishing and camping. He loved the outdoors, his family and his dog, Maxxwell.
Eddie did various kinds of work from professional truck driving, mechanics to herding cattle.
Eddie is survived by his dear companion and friend, Teri; his parents, Ray and Loretta Clifton; one brother, Monte (Sheryl) of Strathmore; nephew, Ryan, and three nieces, Emily, Amy and Anna.
