Lennice Botha obituary

ATASCADERO — Lennice Botha, 88, of Atascadero died on April 15, 2012.

She was born on July 30, 1923 to John and Ida Johnson.

She married Edward Botha in Long Beach.

Lennice moved to Atascadero in 1989 from Oxnard.

Lennice will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a nana for many years.

She loved to cook and be in the kitchen all the time. She always loved to be around kids and loved to take drive to the ocean and watch the waves and the sea life. She had a warm heart and a lot of love to gave to her family. She will be missed very much.

She was preceded in her death by her husband of 53 years, Edward Botha, in 1994 and one son, Greg Botha, in 2010.

She is survived by three children, Michael Botha, Greg Botha and Penny Botha; grandchildren, Ryan Van-Ausdell, Paige Pollock, Codi Pollock (Michael Rothgarn,) Erik Botha and Taylor Botha; three great-granchildren, Baylee Conners, Orion Rothgarn, and Copper Rothgarn

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Partners of the Central Coast.
