The Atascadero City Council voted 4-1, with Councilman Bob Kelley dissenting, to maintain all requirements of La Plaza developer Larry Wysong before it will consider granting a conditional use permit.

Previously, the council had requested that Galaxy Theatres, which is under construction in Colony Square, and La Plaza Theatres, proposed for the Hoff Property on El Camino Real where the North County Christian School thrift store once stood.
