Sparks from a commercial barbecue are the likely cause for a half-acre fire that burned through one field and caused a train-track closure in Templeton Tuesday, according to fire authorities.
At 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, officials got a call of a fire burning in a field directly behind Sam’s Deli in Templeton, at the corner of South Main and 5th streets.
