Hounds play down to the wire on senior night

Atascadero High School beats St. Joseph, 5-1, then loses to Righetti 2-1.

ATASCADERO — The Atascadero High School boys varsity soccer team jumped out to an early lead against the St. Joseph Knights on Monday at home with a goal in the first five minutes and crushed the Knights, 5-1. The Hounds then hosted Righetti on Wednesday for “senior night” in what may have been the best match of the season against the first-place Warriors, but lost 2-1.
