Eagles set sight on extending six-game win streak

Templeton Eagles defeat the Morro Bay Pirates, 60-37.

TEMPLETON — Templeton High School boys varsity basketball took over second place and extend their Los Padres League winning streak to six with home-wins over the Morro Bay Pirates, 60-37, and the Cabrillo Conquistadores, 71-64. The Eagles have been flying high since the arrival of Will Mehring, who, according to THS coach Fred Price, gives the Eagles another dimension and gives Andy Garretson more room to operate. The two have led the Eagles to six straight wins.
