BAKERSFIELD -- The North County Aquatics Swim Club attended the Central California Swimming Junior Olympic Swimming Championships at the Bakersfield Aquatic Center, Feb. 13 to Feb. 16, where over 700 participants from 6 to 18 years old competed in individual and relay events. NCA earned 14th place overall, finishing behind Santa Maria Swim Club by only 17 points.

ATASCADERO -- The City of Atascadero is excited to begin a new season of adult basketball. Registration for the league will only be accepted through Friday, Feb. 20, and costs $400 per team plus possible non-resident team member fees. Applications are accepted on a team-basis only, and rosters must have a minimum of eight players with a maximum of 12.
