ATASCADERO -- The Atascadero Youth Basketball summer league 4th-, 5th-, 6th-grade Pumas met with the Raging Chihuahuas on Monday at the Colony Park Community Center, and although the scoreboard was shut off after halftime, the overmatched Chihuahuas never gave up during a 48-24 loss to the Pumas.

NORTH COUNTY -- Central Coast Swingers managers Andy Garretson and Alex Kotheimer swung through a summer season of baseball with the new club, and came away with new memories, new friends, and another good time playing the old sport.
