Frace sets AHS record in mile

ATASCADERO -- Atascadero High School senior Maddie Leong chose Vassar College as her destination after high school, and signed her letter of intent to play basketball for the Brewers next fall. Templeton youth baseball grows, Royals top Diamondbacks

TEMPLETON -- Action continued in the Templeton Cal Ripken baseball league on Saturday at the Templeton Middle School baseball fields when the Majors division Royals hosted the Diamondbacks on a hot day. The Royals overcame a 6-3 deficit with a five-run rally in the bottom of the third inning, and went on to win, 13-6.

Cuesta distance runners add seven top-10 marks

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Cuesta College track and field attended a pair of meets last weekend, and the Cougars produced seven new top-10 school marks. On Friday night, the Cougars sent their distance runners to the Oxy Distance Carnival, and then the harriers joined the rest of the team at CSU Fullerton's Ben Brown Invitational on Saturday.
