When Atascadero architect-turned-jewelry-maker Austin Moore proposed to his wife Shasta about two years ago, he was able to do something a bit unique: Not only did he handcraft her engagement ring, but he also created a few wedding bands to boot.
“It was traditional in that it was a surprise,” said Moore. “When she said yes, we talked a few months later, and I made her three or four.”
Moore doesn’t dabble primarily with diamonds.
