Gov.’s budget still puts AUSD in the red

ATASCADERO — Gov. Jerry Brown announced in January that California’s budget is balanced and that the budget woes have been “fixed.” But Atascadero Unified School District Assistant Superintendent of Business Services Jackie Martin painted a very different picture, and reminded the Board of Trustees that Proposition 30 wasn’t a “silver bullet.”
