ATASCADERO The 26 victims shot dead in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in December are being honored by North County Christian School art students. Before Christmas break, a class of art students between grades nine and 12 were tasked by instructor Tisha Smith with learning about a victim one victim per art student and designing and creating a piece of art commemorating that person to be included on one of two 36-inch by 48-inch canvases.
