Plans for building a new Cal Fire station in Creston took a step forward on Wednesday when the Creston Advisory Body unanimously voted to recommend the design proceed based on the conceptual drawing presented at the meeting.

“I got a sneak preview [Tuesday] and I was very impressed,” said Cal Fire San Luis Obispo Unit chief Matt Jenkins. “I think it’s beautiful.”
