Crusin' Weekend brings hot rods to Atascadero

ATASCADERO -- Vehicles from all over the region rumbled into Atascadero Friday for two days of hot rod-fueled fun beginning with the traditional Hot El Camino Cruise Nite Friday evening.
Cruise Nite, along with the annual Mid-State Cruizers Car Show and the first-ever Dancing in the Streets event on Saturday have been rebranded this year as Cruisin' Weekend.

On Friday, Aug. 26 the Charles Paddock Zoo announced the birth of a female red-flanked duiker. The red-flanked duiker is a species of small antelope found in western and central Africa. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing person with dementia symptoms in the Paso Robles area.
