PASO ROBLES -- A North County team not named Templeton or Atascadero paid a visit to Gil Asa Gymnasium on Monday night, as the Crusaders of North County Christian lined up against Paso Robles.
NCCS entered the meeting with the Bearcats on a five-match winning streak, all of which came on Saturday, Sept. 13 in the David Lowe Memorial Tournament.

SAN SIMEON -- Local runner Matthew Shuck tackled the 2014 Best Buddies Challenge at Hearst Castle on Saturday, running in the 5K portion of the event alongside Olympic legend Carl Lewis. Shuck was the overall male winner in the 5K.
