MORRO BAY -- The Atascadero High School boys varsity basketball team earned a trip to the championship game of the Harding Invitational Tournament by defeating Garces, Royal, and Fallbrook high schools, and faced PAC 8 League opponent Pioneer Valley for the 2014 HIT championship on Saturday. Atascadero came back from a deep deficit to beat the Panthers in overtime, 54-52.
