Atascadero schools on lockdown after shots heard near AHS

Bicyclist hit by vehicle; Santa Lucia Road closed to traffic

Police have closed a section of Santa Lucia Ave. in Atascadero after a bicyclist was reportedly hit by a vehicle and injured near the intersection of Santa Lucia and Ardilla Road. Traffic is currently being diverted at Venado Road and there are reports that traffic is backing up on Highway 101 southbound at the Traffic Way ramp. Please exercise caution
